A solution that simply works
Just a few years ago, employees started bringing their own devices (mostly cell phones) into the work place. Not much was thought of it more than an occasional rebuff from a manager for using a personal phone for personal calls.
Things changed rapidly in 2012 and 2013 as more and more users started bringing their own devices into the workplace. All of a sudden, BYOD became a movement that needed careful attention from management and IT teams.
The main challenge became—and still is for many organizations—a question of how to allow employees to work on their own devices, keep personal and work files separate on that device, and how to secure it all from the core infrastructure to the end-point device.
